360210 - Friends N Fun Social

The Friends-N-Fun Program is for adults and youth with special needs, 14 years of age and older.
This program is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to be independent, experience recreational and cultural activities while increasing social skills, building self-esteem and becoming more independent through the use of fun group activities.

Registration is limited to the first 60 participants.

All activities originate at the Greece Community Center, 3 Vince Tofany Blvd., Greece, NY 14612.

Please Note: All FNF participants being transported on field trips with the CSC need to have a 2018 Transportation Waiver on file at the Center.

420352 - The Land of Make Believe

This program combines creative drama and the use of the imagination to provide children with a safe space to develop confidence, creativity and have fun.
Participants will have the chance to act out a different original play every session. This is a great program to learn what it's like to be in a play.
Please Note: Proficient reading skills required for program.

430190 - Open Golf

Participants will be hitting off a mat using a solid foam ball; rubber tees are available. Three nets are available on a first come first serve basis. Participants must provide their own clubs.

430431 - Gentle Yoga

This class is a combination of both standing and seated yoga poses. Gentle Yoga will increase flexibility, balance and range of motion with or without chair support. Relaxation and restorative breathing exercises will reduce daily life stressors.

This progam is designed for your child to use their imagination and create a simple craft project in a fun environment. All supplies provided.

530220 - Friends and Fun Bowling

This program is available to Greece CSC members with special needs. It will be held Tuesday afternoons from 3:30pm - 4:45pm at Dewey Garden Lanes, located at 4470 Dewey Avenue. The program will be $40.00 per person for EACH section and includes (2) games of bowling, shoes and the year-end banquet. For your convenience, participants may register for ANY or ALL sections at any point during the bowling season. No refunds.
Bowling baquet will be March 10, 2020

Calling all book lovers! Running out of good books to read? Need some new recommendations? Stop at the Community Center and share your latest great book and pick up a new book or idea. All participants should come each month with a new book to trade and be ready to laugh, converse and make new friends and talk about books!
Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
Please Note: The Community Center will not be providing any books, it is up to book club members to trade amongst the group.

This class incorporates a full body workout, that includes a warm-up, a body stretch, yoga postures, and a cool down. The focus of the class will be to work on core strength and stability

This class takes the Zumba workout and makes it accessible for seniors, beginners or others needing modifications in their exercise routine.

An aerobic fitness class featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and performed primarily to Latin American dance music.

Walk Fit is a 50 minute cardio class that uses walking motion along with weights. This program will incorporate muscle groups from both the upper and lower body.

Come & turn line dancing into an exercise routine that is fun & challenging! Dance to all types of music, no partner or previous experience necessary. Euchre is a trick-taking card game, most commonly played with four people in two partnerships with a deck of 24, or sometimes 32, standard playing cards.

This program is open to adult CSC members. It's a card game played with a 48-card pack containing two each of A, K, Q, J, 10, 9 in each suit with the object to score points by melding certain combinations of cards or by winning tricks that contain scoring cards.

Mahjongg is a game of Chinese origin using 144 small tiles bearing various designs, played by four people around a square table. The winning player is the first one who completes a particular pattern using 13 tiles.

530720 - Quilting and Crafting

Quilting is designed for all to enjoy the experience of creating wonderful works of quilts with friends and neighbors of the Community. You will find the participants of the program sitting down cutting, clipping, sewing and designing quilts for veterans, family members and friends. Participants bring in their own projects & materials and often share ideas & get personal help from the more experienced Quilt designers. No Fee
